APPLICATION SUBMISSION
-
We don’t suggest one specific stock pitch format. Each year the accepted Junior Analysts have high variances in the formats of the stock pitches in their initial applications.
We screen for curiosity, desire to learn about companies, ability to think critically, and work ethic.
-
We encourage all applicants to use SMU’s Career Management Center and other relevant resources to aid in creating their resume and stock pitch.
However, each applicant is responsible for their own work, and all interviewees will be expected to demonstrate a proficient understanding of the work they create.
-
All members of BIG’s Executive Team will evaluate applications.
-
Each year we evaluate the quality and quantity of applicants to determine how many interviews to conduct. Historically, BIG has given interviews to the top ~40 candidates.
