BIG Pitch Competition – Registration Instructions

Please complete the registration form below to apply for the 2025 SMU Cox BIG Pitch Competition. Each student must register individually, even if applying with a team. You will be asked for your basic information, resume, and the names of your teammates (2–4 students per team).

Applications open February 19th at 5:00pm CT and close March 12th at 11:59pm CT. Finalists will be announced on March 19th, with resubmissions due April 2nd, and the in-person competition held at SMU Cox on April 10th.

Your resume is required so sponsors can identify standout candidates; it will not be used in the pitch-judging process.

  • In advance of internship and full-time recruiting in 2026/27, our sponsors would like to identify talented students across various campuses. Your resume will not be considered as part of the competition judging process.

  • Yes, all finalists will need to travel to Dallas, Texas for the final round competition. We have drivers that will escort you from the airport to your hotel.

  • Initial submissions will be judged by BIG Investment Committee members. Finalists will be judged by a panel of investment professionals.
