A national stock pitch competition for collegiate undergraduates. Finalists will compete in Dallas, Texas at SMU Cox.

Submission (high-level)

Teams submit a pitch deck and a 3-minute thesis video on one U.S.-listed public equity (long or short). Full submission requirements are available on the application page.

Key details

  • Team size: 2–4 undergraduate students
  • Travel: All finalists must travel to Dallas for the final round
  • Lodging: BIG pays for Friday night hotel (Apr 10) for finalist teams at the Beeman Hotel
  • On-site experience: Networking, live pitches, Q&A, and a keynote speaker
  • Sponsors: Firms send judges and representatives to attend and network
  • Resume: Used for sponsor recruiting visibility, not competition judging

  • Finalists submit updated materials before the final round

Yes. BIG will pay for one hotel night for finalist teams on Friday, April 10 at the Beeman Hotel in Dallas.
Yes, all finalists will need to travel to Dallas, Texas for the final round competition at SMU Cox. We have drivers that will escort you from the airport to your hotel.
Initial submissions will be judged by BIG Investment Committee members. Finalists will be judged by a panel of investment professionals from sponsoring firms.
